You can find a download of the current draft of Chapter 1 of Silence to Singing on my homepage. I was so happy with it—until yesterday. It’s fun reading, it had good reviews from my writer’s group. But I have a deeper purpose for the book which the chapter doesn’t show.
My purpose for writing Silence to Singing is to give readers hope in this time of all times. I want to show how Jesus doesn’t mind if we wrestle with questions and doubts and doctrines. Also, I want to show how God overcomes the evil one that wants to silence us.
Each person can sing a heart-lifting melody in the world, silencing the mocking demons. May this book-in-progress open your heart and help you start your song.
