I am a Christian, but years ago I was a teenage atheist. During that dark time I survived many dangers, both mental and physical. But, as a curious, nerdy kid, I also had a rollicking good humor. Now I present my writings to you full of adventure, love of nature, warm relationships, some real science, and a nonjudgmental desire for you to see God.

The Soul’s Warfare series (sci-fi)
1. The Hot Marble
Lewis Brahmindura is a brilliant young physicist, an atheist, single, and engaged in top-secret research. The hot marble is a bit of alien technology that his young siblings discover in a vacant suburban lot—which puts them in critical danger. And Lewis loves his family so much that he would do anything to protect them. Anything.
2. The Cave Chamber
A willing prisoner to protect his family, Lewis helps the evil Horned Edge implement the technology they need to conquer two worlds—including Earth. Meanwhile, his friends are trying to rescue him as they work to stop the conquest. [This story is dark, but also points to hope. It’s my favorite book in the Soul’s Warfare series.]
3. The Horned Edge
Back on Earth but in poor health with seizures and PTSD, physicist Lewis works in his father’s shoe store. He misses his far-away true love, Deirdre. An exciting new job, a gorgeous temptress, and coercive attempts by the Horned Edge to re-recruit him threaten to derail him from his dream of enabling time travel. If only the Horned Edge knew Lewis carries the technology for their defeat literally in his back pocket …
4. Silence to Singing—in progress
About to marry lovely Deirdre and assigned to capture the Horned Edge leader Karl with time travel technology, physicist Lewis begins his remarkable new mission. However, Karl is not idle. He plans to kill Lewis. His armies move to invade the United States as the first step of world conquest. And he has infiltrated the inner circle of Lewis’s Time Team.

The Hot Marble and The Cave Chamber are 1st two novels in Series written by Rosemary Althoff. A very different approach to God versus Devil. And good triumphs over evil. Set in another dimension it’s a religious sci fi environment. So safe to say if you love sci fi movies and books I highly recommend these books. Also waiting for more to come!
