About the Author, Rosemary B. Althoff

Much of my life can be defined by the four hardest things I have ever experienced.

I’m a Christian. Loving God is the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced. And I couldn’t do it without the Holy Spirit. Having experienced atheism in my early life, I can definitely see a wholesome change in my thinking and doing. I highly recommend Romans 8 in the Bible for anyone fighting with legalistic Christianity but still asking questions about God. Jesus loves; He doesn’t condemn.
I’m an award-winning author. I’ve completed three sci-fi thriller novels: The Hot Marble, The Cave Chamber, and The Horned Edge. Those are all in the Soul’s Warfare series published by Winged Publications. The final fourth in the series is underway: Silence to Singing.
I’m skilled in democratic relationships. STEP: Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. That program taught me how to live in a democratic society (“I’m the authority, but your opinion matters.”) rather than in an autocracy (“I’m the authority, so do what I say!”). Plus, I enjoy a delightfully relaxed family because of the STEP training.
I can teach. I have had the happy opportunity to teach college courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication, research writing, and English composition. These experiences help me offer people valuable success skills.
